Remove sshnas.dll or sshnas21.dll trojan from your windows 7.

sshnas.dll or sshnas21.dll is a component of trojan FakeAlert. It can be easily remove from your windows 7 machine.

sshnas.dll or sshnas21.dll trojanThe trojan come from malicious websites that ask users to download an Adobe Flash Player update or player needed to view a movie online. The filename of the trojan is flash-HQ-plugin. Once started, the trojan will download and install core components: c.exe, msa.exe and sshnas.dll (sshnas21.dll). When downloaded, it will be configured to start automatically when Windows starts. Trojan FakeAlert may display many popups and fake security alerts, hijack Internet Explorer, disable Windows Task Manager and Registry editor.Also it is usually installed in conjunction with a rogue antispyware programs.

If your computer is infected, then use these removal instructions below, which will remove sshnas.dll (sshnas21.dll) trojan.

  • Please download OTM by OldTimer from here and save it to desktop.
  • Run OTM. Copy, then paste the following text in “Paste Instructions for Items to be Moved” window (under the yellow bar):

Now Your windows 7 machine is free from sshnas.dll or sshnas21.dll trojan.

Today morning my friend vijayakumar come to me in the college and asked How to disable USB ports in Windows. Then I googled and found a easy way to Disable or Enable the USB ports

To disable the access to USB port, in windows, follow the steps below
1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.
3. Locate, and then click the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\UsbStor
4. In the right pane, double-click Start.
5. In the Value data box, type 4, click Hexadecimal (if it is not already selected), and then click OK.
6. Quit Registry Editor.

To Enable a disabled port, follow these steps below

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.
3. Locate, and then click the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\UsbStor
4. In the right pane, double-click Start.
5. In the Value data box, type 3, click Hexadecimal (if it is not already selected), and then click OK.
6. Quit Registry Editor.

We thought Google’s Android is for mobile but, people at VentureBeat experimented Android in Asus EEEPC 1000H laptop.And got success within 4 hours

Nearly all the hardwares in Asus EEEPC 1000H laptop were running perfectly with Android

As we already mentioned in our pervious post that Microsoft is building windows 7 to work more perfectly in netbook (to view the post click here).

Now after this big step the little Android can give some tough competition for windows 7 in Microsoft’s netbook market.

Most of the technologists were expecting that we can see a netbook can run with Android OS within 2010.

I think Microsoft want to face lot of challenges in both netbook and mobile market due to Android.

Really it is great work by Google because a single product (Android) of Google is giving trouble for two products (windows 7 and windows mobile) of Microsoft.

Expecting to see more fight with Microsoft in feature !!!

 Windows 7 pre-release is out today.

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer announced that Microsoft is releasing a beta version of Windows 7, which will be available for download from Friday (jan 9).

He said “We are on track to deliver the best version of Windows ever,”
Also he added that windows 7 will make PC faster and easier to use.

What is more in windows 7?

Windows 7 will have touch-screen capability, side-by-side windows for comparison shopping , a “Peek” feature that makes open windows transparent, allowing users to see the icons on their desktop, speech and handwriting recognition, support for virtual hard disks, improved performance on multi-core processors, improved boot performance, and kernel improvements.

In Windows 7 , Windows Mail, Windows Calendar, Windows Photo Gallery, Windows Movie Maker, and Windows Contacts are part of Windows Live Essentials (previously Windows Live Installer).

Requirements to try windows 7

The beta, which Microsoft called “feature complete,” requires a PC with a 1GHz processor, 1GB of memory, 16GB of available hard disk space and support for DX9 graphics with 128MB of memory, according to Microsoft, which also warned that the recommendations could change for the final version. The beta only supports an upgrade from Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1)

Already Microsoft got big worry about Linux competition in the server market. Now it continues in PCs and laptop markets too.

Yes Microsoft designs the windows7 to kill Linux market

The main threat to windows comes from “netbooks” inexpensive laptops that typically use Intel’s low-powered Atom processor.

They are mainly used for browsing and little word-processing.
The funny thing with this netbook is they can’t handle Vista so they can run only with XP. But linux really gives nice support to netbooks (thats the beauty of linux).

As a result Acer and Asustek who holds 90% of netbook market where using linux on 30% of their product. Another thing is if a netbook uses linux they will not use Microsoft office so here is double hit for Microsoft.

If a user uses linux in his netbook and after getting familiar automatically he will start using linux in desktop. Here the Microsoft get real threat

So now Microsoft building windows 7 to work well in netbooks. In a recent Professional Developers Conference Windows Senior Vice President showed Windows 7 on his Lenovo laptop and said that it used less than half of the netbook’s RAM (1GB)

By this Microsoft plans to capture the linux’s netbook market.
