After a break i decided to write a post on some basic things in the IT field, so my today’s topic is cloud computing.
A company have to distribute all the software to the developers which are needed for developing a project. This will be nice if it involves few, in contrast imagine what will happen if lots of developers are working. The things will get harder for the company because they need to install those software in each and every systems also this might be an expensive one. To avoid this kind of things cloud computing is introduced.
Instead of installing all the software suites in each system. A browser is used to log into a server in which all the things which are required for the developers are hosted so they can work from any where even with any kind of system and their works will be stored online, so they can access it and share it easily.
The simple things required to do this is an internet connection and browser (or any other interface software). Another advantage is, all the process are done on the server so the client computer (system on which developer working) no longer need to do heavy process.
Anyhow we all are using clouding computing in our day today life.
Yes web-based e-mail services like Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoomail etc., are some form of cloud computing.
Another very good example is Google Apps which includes Gmail, Google Calendar, Talk, Docs and Sites.
This are the very basic things about cloud computing.
