sshnas.dll or sshnas21.dll is a component of trojan FakeAlert. It can be easily remove from your windows 7 machine.

sshnas.dll or sshnas21.dll trojan The trojan come from malicious websites that ask users to download an Adobe Flash Player update or player needed to view a movie online. The filename of the trojan is flash-HQ-plugin. Once started, the trojan will download and install core components: c.exe, msa.exe and sshnas.dll (sshnas21.dll). When downloaded, it will be configured to start automatically when Windows starts. Trojan FakeAlert may display many popups and fake security alerts, hijack Internet Explorer, disable Windows Task Manager and Registry editor.Also it is usually installed in conjunction with a rogue antispyware programs.

If your computer is infected, then use these removal instructions below, which will remove sshnas.dll (sshnas21.dll) trojan.

Please download OTM by OldTimer from here and save it to desktop.

Run OTM. Copy, then paste the following text in “Paste Instructions for Items to be Moved” window (under the yellow bar):

Click the red Moveit! button.When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you. If you are asked to reboot the machine choose Yes.

Now Your windows 7 machine is free from sshnas.dll or sshnas21.dll trojan.

Note: This Tip is also applicable for Windows XP, Vista Too.

after you done this scan your pc with malwarebytes
this will remove the alert

i have no problems anymore except that my sidebar is messed up after i solved the problem with the Sshnass21.dll file

does anyone know how to fix this??

Hey,

thanks a lot for this post and the software too. Before running this tool, I had scanned with AVG antivirus, it showed me trojan but could not remove it….however, when I ran this OTM and rebooted the system, I again ran the AVG and this time the trojan had vanished.
