When you click info@yahoo.com or any mailto:links in Firefox, it directly opens yahoo! mail or outlook. But most of us are strongly recommanded and using GMAIL. Here is a simple solution to set your default email client as Gmail in Firefox 3.
In FireFox 3,
- go to Tools> options
- Click on Application Tab
- Then select mailto: in content type
- In action select Use Gmail
- And click OK to save settings
If you cant see the USE GMAIL in mailto: protocol then select Use other and browse to Gmail Notifier of Google Talk to use Gmail as default in FireFox.
Thats all. All your mailto: links uses gmail or gtalk as default email client in firefox.
