Since this is my first post i took a long time to choose the topic at the end I decided to write about 3G(third generation) mobile technology because at present most of the people asking that what 3G can really do more and how it is special when compared to 2.5G(current generation). Also this is an easy task for a newbie

Before that, main requirement for using 3G service is a 3G enabled handset like iPhone 3G or blackberry what ever may be its your choice. If you are planing to buy a little expensive mobile now. I strongly suggest you to buy a 3G enabled handset because that will do more in the near feature. Ok let us switch over to the topic.

First thing, 3G says a big good bye to 150kbps speed of data transfer, Yes with 3G we can transfer data at 2Mbps speed. I think this will be very much useful for youths those who are using mobile gprs (mainly Airtel MO).

Next to that, 3G provides a way to make video calls. This may be a dream now but believe me that we are going to have a video conference with our friends using a 3G enabled mobile (for this both should have 3G enabled handset).

3G allows more user to use the network when compared to 2.5G(current generation) so hereafter you will not get a lady voice saying that “Network is currently busy please try again after some times”.

As mentioned earlier 3G offers us 2Mbps data rate so we can watch the youtube videos without any disturbance with a quick streaming time. Not only videos we can also download all other stuffs in short period of time when compared to 2.5G.

Another interesting thing is we can watch live TV with our 3G mobile so it will be much helpful Indian cricket fans during India’s match.

I know your next question will be “when we are going to enjoy all this things?”
Already from Dec 11 Delhi MTNL users started to enjoy 3G. Soon BSNL is going to launch the 3G other than Delhi area. After that all other mobile operators will start providing it. In my point of view 3G service will reach more users when it is provided by mobile operators like Airtel, Vodafone, Reliance etc.,

Although 3G gives more features than 2.5G but this is too late for India because other countries where experimenting with the next generation. So we should take the next step as quick as possible after launching 3G.

Google Image Search has added another interesting element to the search, Image Style.

“Many of us use Google Image Search to find imagery of people, clip art for presentations, diagrams for reports, and of course symbols and patterns for artistic inspiration. Unfortunately, searching for the perfect image can be challenging if the search results match the meaning of your query but aren’t in a style that’s useful to you,” explains Google’s blog.

Different style options can be selected from the “Any content” drop down in the blue title bar on any search results page, or by selecting one of the “Content types” on the Advanced Image Search page. see the below image
The good news: no extra typing! In all these examples our query remained exactly the same, Google just restricted the results to different visual styles.

To see the effect of these new options, let’s take a look at the first few results for “Christmas,” one of the most popular queries on Image Search right now.So go ahead and check out the various image results by just modifying content filter for the image search.
