Windows 7 Beta is out !!!!!

 Windows 7 pre-release is out today.

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer announced that Microsoft is releasing a beta version of Windows 7, which will be available for download from Friday (jan 9).

He said “We are on track to deliver the best version of Windows ever,”
Also he added that windows 7 will make PC faster and easier to use.

What is more in windows 7?

Windows 7 will have touch-screen capability, side-by-side windows for comparison shopping , a “Peek” feature that makes open windows transparent, allowing users to see the icons on their desktop, speech and handwriting recognition, support for virtual hard disks, improved performance on multi-core processors, improved boot performance, and kernel improvements.

In Windows 7 , Windows Mail, Windows Calendar, Windows Photo Gallery, Windows Movie Maker, and Windows Contacts are part of Windows Live Essentials (previously Windows Live Installer).

Requirements to try windows 7

The beta, which Microsoft called “feature complete,” requires a PC with a 1GHz processor, 1GB of memory, 16GB of available hard disk space and support for DX9 graphics with 128MB of memory, according to Microsoft, which also warned that the recommendations could change for the final version. The beta only supports an upgrade from Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1)
